Voltage

This is a measurement of electrical pressure. It functions similarly to water pressure in that it "pushes" amperage down the fence wire.

Watt

This is a unit of measurement for electric power equal to voltage times amperage.

Wing Screw

This is a threaded nut with wing-like projections for thumb and forefinger leverage in turning.

Wrap Connector

This is a pre-formed wire spiral with grit (similar to sandpaper) glued to the inside which contacts and holds line wires.

Zinc Coating

This is usually hot-dipped in which the zinc and steel form a metallurgical bond. The thickness of a hot-dipped coating can be varied from a thin zinc/iron alloy layer to heavy applications suitable for extended outdoor exposure.
